Ingredients
● 6 firm Pear Rocha, peeled (stems intact)
● 500 ml water, 120 g sugar
● 120 ml Pear Rocha liqueur
● 1 strip of lemon peel, 1 cinnamon stick
How to do it
1. Bring the water, sugar, lemon peel, and cinnamon to a boil; add the liqueur.
2. Add the pears and simmer gently for 20–30 minutes until tender.
3. Remove the pears and reduce the syrup for 5–8 minutes.
To serve: Pour the syrup over the pears; excellent with Greek yogurt or vanilla ice cream.
